VSP was founded in 1955 by a group of optometrists who wanted to provide access to affordable, high-quality eye care to the world. We reinvest in our members and the community through the advancement of optometry, eyewear donations, and mobile clinics to help connect people in need with a local VSP network doctor. VSP network doctors provide the most comprehensive eye exam possible—a WellVision Exam. Through this exam, doctors get a better view of your eyes and look for eye health problems.
